I had already DJed the bride's brother's wedding (Cole Collier) in 2008 at the Merion Cricket Club on the Main Line, so Krista's father booked me the following week. The drive was a little farther than most weddings, but that was no problem. I just left extra early. In fact, I brought my wife Lisa and her mom down with me, and they spent the day at the shore. The Hotel was just a block away from the beach, which is where they had the ceremony.

Their intro songs were really good; "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," and Bruce Springsteen's "So Young and In Love." Their first dance song was "It doesn't get better than this" by John Eddie. They had some really nice toasts, funny and heartfelt.

The father daughter dance song was "The Wonder of You" by Elvis (one of my personal favorites). The mother son song was Bruce Springsteen's "When you need me." You can kind of deduce that the groom is a major Bruce Springsteen fan. I have seen the Boss a few times, and he puts on the best show I have ever seen.

The cake cutting song was Johnny Cash's "I Walk the Line." You gotta love it when someone puts the Man in Black on their list. Good stuff. Later in the night, I called the Lambda Chi Alpha brothers to the floor and they all sang, "Magic Carpet Ride" by Steppenwolf.

The music was mainly 60's to 80's. They didn't want any rap or hip hop. The only exception was "Baby Got Back" which was a hit. The last song of the night was Billy Joel's "Piano Man." Everyone was arm in arm and sang along to that, swaying back and forth. Great night.
