What is included in your DJ packages?
You will have an in-person consultation and final meeting with us before the event. We will arrive 60 to 90 minutes prior to your event to begin setting up. Each package includes a complete DJ system with a cordless microphone, speakers, State-of-the-art digital players, and back-up equipment, along with a CD and digital library catered to your special event. We will be dressed in appropriate attire and will be your master of ceremonies (if you wish) to make all announcements and play your requested music throughout your event.  You will have access to an online password protected planner, which is a great tool

What are your rates?
An important question but it should be the last one.  Prices really say little about a company.  Yes, it is wonderful to have a cheap DJ if you have a tight budget, but that might be all you get, cheap.  I could list a hundred reasons why hiring the cheapest DJ could be a recipe for disaster, but I think I can generally sum it up in two words" Inexpensive = Inexperience. Do you want "DJ Inexperienced" handling the biggest day of your life? We aren't the cheapest DJ Service, and we certainly aren't the most expensive. But, we know we are well worth what we charge and we won't break your bank account.  Please keep one thing in mind with our rates....a 5 hour package is more like a 15 - 20 hour package from us.  We spend several hours behind the scenes with paper work, preparing equipment, consultations, securing and preparing your special songs, pre-visit to the reception site, load up, setup, strike, drive times, etc.  We take that amount of time because we care and want everything to be perfect, because that's what our customers expect!
 

What type of music styles do you offer?
With today's technology, we are able to provide you with any style of music and find most, if not all, of the songs you request. This includes, and is not limited to, 40's Big Band Swing to all of today's current music, along with various types of ethnic music.

How far in advance should we book our event?
Once you have decided what you want and the company that you want to book, It is advisable to book right away. That way you don't run the risk of someone beating you to the punch for that vendor on your date. This goes for all vendors, such as venue, caterer, photographer, DJ etc.

Is tipping/gratuity expected by the DJ? 
Gratuity is certainly appreciated, but by no means mandatory.

Will we have to provide a meal for you?
No.  While meals are greatly appreciated, they are in no way part of our agreement.  Banquet facilities often provide vendor meals.

Are you Licensed & insured?
Most banquet facilities require their vendors to have proof of liability insurance.  We will be happy to furnish proof of insurance upon request.


How do we schedule an appointment?

Contact us at (610) 539-1573 to make an appointment. Evening appointments are available on most days. Weekend appointments are also available depending upon our event schedule. Most consultations take 45 minutes to an hour.

May we call references?

Yes, we do have references that you may call if desired.

 

How will you be dressed?

We will be dressed appropriately for your event.  Unless otherwise requested by our clients, our entertainers will wear tuxedos

How early will you be there to set up? 

Normally 60 - 90 minutes is needed for setup and sound check. This enables us to be ready before your guests arrive.  These times can increase if we are contracted to use a larger PA system or effect lighting packages. Difficult load-ins and outs can increase that time as well.  There is no charge for this time unless we are required to set up more than two hours before the event or have to wait to tear down after the event.

Do you take requests?
Absolutely!  However, if a song seems inappropriate we will explain the reason and ask for an alternative selection. Also, we will watch the flow of the dancing and if the requested selection will adversely affect that flow, I will wait until later to play the selection.  If the requested song is on your DO NOT PLAY list, we will not play it.

What Kind of equipment do you use?

We use JBL, Gemini or Mackie speakers.  Our mixers and CD players are Pioneer, Numark or Denon.  In addition, we will use a laptop to supplement our library.  Most of our DJs have the ability to download songs on the spot.  All of our equipment is professionally maintained.

 

What is your overtime policy?

Should you choose to extend the party, we ask a half hour notice before the original end time.  We will gladly stay, with the facility's approval.  Overtime pay is paid in cash directly to the DJ. 

When will my DJ contact me?
You can set up a meeting at any time before your event.  It is advisable to schedule a meeting at least a month in advance, and within a month, if needed.  You may call or e-mail anytime.  Your DJ will call you the week of your event to confirm your itinerary and play list.
